OK, I'll admit it...it's not the very best in ihome entertainment. That being said for the price paid, I feel it's a great value. I have purchased and tested three of these already for my younger sisters as gifts. I felt the sound quality was pretty good (though I do not work in the audio field). It did take a few seconds to for lack of a better word, warm up after the ipod was connected. I used the remote to ensure it worked. I thought that it was pretty cool that I could control the song selection from across the room while I was cleaning or turn it down to answer the phone without stopping what I was doing. I felt that for work or even for things around the house it was plenty loud. I didn't have any connection problems with any of them thus far. I just ordered one for myself. I was thrilled to see the price went down a little bit even. If you want to blast out your neighbors, this is not for you. If you are looking to enjoy music at a decent price, then this is for you.

Great product, does what is says. Truns your iPhone into a flip phone when connected and talking. I would give it 5 stars but the only problem is that it cannot fold completely when using it as a spare battery with the iPhone. The pflip folds into small form factor on its own, but why carry two seperate units in your pocket, when you can use it together? For females it would be ok to put the pflip and the iPhone in your purse, but for guys and gals wanting to put both items in your jeans, forget about it. But if you are watching movies or listening to the iPod for a very long without wall power or while traveling, this is the prime accessory to get. Battery life if great, charging and syncing works flawlessly. I do like it when it stands, you can see clearly who is calling you or you can download the free pflip app through the apple application store and use it as a clock. I wish the pflip was able to fold completley closed into one single form factor when they are connected together - charging your iphone when it is in your pocket - then this would be the best power solution ever for the iPhone!

@ C. Chen: I believe the product flaw you are implying would be more accurately defined as pilot error. These are very thin and very clear. Neither the iPod Touch or iPhone seems to know it's even there. I've been using them for over 10 years.

I rarely read product instructions, even for items costing over a grand. This item, though, certainly falls into the category of "read the instructions (or else)" a few times before actually applying it. Your hands should be very clean to remove as much skin oil as possible, you should be situated in a clean area of as little dust as possible, turn off your central air to let air-bourn dust settle, and do not simply peel the protector off the backing and attempt to apply it (failure would be eminent).

You should only peel back enough to start (1cm or .5") and fold back the backing. As you slowly pull the backing, use a credit card (as a squeegee) that has a piece of tape along the edge that will be in contact with the film (to lessen the chance of scratching) and avoid bubbles. Anyone in a hurry will likely end with disappointing results, and then slam the product.

Though I have an iPod Touch now, prior to this, I've been using Palm® PDAs since 1996. These thin protectors would last a couple years on a Palm, and since the iPhone and iPod Touch don't use a stylist with a pointed end, they should last many years on Apple's products.

BTW: though the product description states it can be removed and reapplied, which is potentially accurate, DO NOT rely on it. If you follow instructions, you should never need to.

Apple iPod touch 8 GB (3rd Generation) NEWEST MODEL Review

I bought this to use as an alternative to my Creative Labs Zen MicroPhoto (which I still use at the gym because it can take a beating, but the battery life is terrible).

This thing was designed beautifully. Very thin, but solid feeling. Touch screen is very responsive and has excellent brightness and colors. The sound quality rivals that of my previous mp3 player.

Being new to the whole ipod thing, it took a few days to accept that itunes would take control of my itouch (i.e. syncing stuff). Sure, there is an option to manually add and delete stuff, but once I got used to it, the auto sync isn't that bad.

Being able to connect to wireless networks is a very cool bonus with this thing. Adding email accounts is easy, page load time is acceptable. Oh, and the best part: it doubles as a portable gaming console (watch out though, prolonged use will drain battery pretty quick).

Overall battery life is great. I usually leave it in sleep mode so I don't lose my place on whatever music I'm listening too. Going on 4 days now without a recharge... and I use it for music on average 3 hours per day.

Mirrored backplate is cool... allows for one to covertly check to ensure that there is no crap on his or her teeth.

So what's not so good about this thing?--

1) Can't delete music files on the fly: i.e. you need to delete files while connected to itunes.

2) no integrated microphone (there is one built into the headphones, but I'd rather forfeit this feature in favor of using better headphones).

3) apps are addictive... watch the spending and read reviews before buying games.

4) now I kind of want an iphone... but don't want to use at&t service... oh well.

I ordered this cable as a spare to keep in my laptop case. The cable that arrived seemed identical in every way to the cable that shipped with my iphone 3G, except that it did not include the Apple logo on the USB plug. Even under a magnifying glass every detail and color was the same, and it functioned perfectly as a power and sync cable. These may be made by the same company that makes them for apple, except they can't legally use the apple logo since it's not sold directly by Apple.

I was surprised at the many 1 star reviews, and sadly suspect that some or many were posted by disgruntled merchants who have been selling replacement cables for much higher prices. I don't have any proof of this however it's common ambush marketing. This is only a hunch however based on these reviews I put this cable through a battery of tests. The cable that Amazon shipped was fine. It was shipped in a small plastic bag, not an ornate package; however, that is why this cable can be sold for under !

I always felt the and sync cable replacements were a rip-off -- it's just a cable folks. Highly recommended and a good value.

I have purchased ten of these cases for my iPhone. After ordering the first one, I was so impressed with the quality and exact fit for my phone (not to mention the bargain-basement price), that I ordered more to have as backups. Premium Low Profile SOFT Iphone Ipod Touch Iphone 3g S 3GS Sleeve Iphone 3g Motorola Droid Case Review

I really wanted to give this more of a 3.5 because of the cost. While five dollars isn't a lot, it's quite a bit for what you get. The case is a soft case that will not hold its shape on its own. It is made of a faux leather material, and while craftsmanship is decent, it looks like something someone might make in Home Ec class. Upon removal from its packaging (just an unmarked plastic bag), my first thought was, "Wow there is no way my Droid is going to fit in this." However, with a little bit of effort, the Droid does indeed fit nicely within. It's tight enough that the phone will not slip out on its own. While that is good, I also get the feeling that the stitching will bust or unravel within a year due to the tightness.

You want this case if:

- You pocket your phone and want to prevent scratches and scuffs
- You don't want to add bulk to your phone
- You do not object to removing your phone from the sleeve each time you need to use your phone
- You like minimalistic, simple things

This case will not work for you if:

- You want protection against shock (drops, bumps, etc.)
- You want a case to always be on

For me, this sleeve works well. I am using the Droid docks so any case that gets put on there needs to be easily removed. The snap on cases add quite a bit of thickness to the phone. Also, the snap on cases have a problem where the tabs of the two pieces will have to slide past each other whenever the phone is opened to access the QWERTY. This causes a substantial amount of noise on the plastic cases (like finger nails on chalkboard), and is difficult to do with the Body Glove case. Those cases are also difficult to remove.

I carry my phone in my pocket with my keys. I'm not clumsy and haven't ever damaged a phone from dropping or standard bumps in my pocket. This case works well for my purpose, but it really is a cheaply made case and is on the high end of what it's worth.

So I read through all these reviews and was concerned about all the problems people were saying: that the tabs on the sides break, the color fades, that the bottom slips off easily, so I was a little wary to buy. However, the case is so great looking and cheap that I decided to buy anyway.

And the case is great! I've had it for a couple of months now and have had none of the problems others have (possibly the manufacturer fixed the flaws?). No color fading, no tabs breaking and the case stays snapped together pretty tight. I also take the bottom of the case off every night to dock my iphone and everything still fits tight and snug.

Also, I was fumbling with a bunch of bags the other day and my phone dropped right out of my hand onto the hard floor. The case came apart when it hit the ground, but it didn't break, chip, or anything! AND my phone didn't have a scratch on it!

Would definitely recommend! Great looking case and it was able to protect my iphone from a pretty hard fall.

I purchased this tonight and cannot believe the sound clarity that this lil' thing has.
I am very pleased with the sound however cannot give this a 5-star rating because the cord has a strange setup.

Instead of being hidden the cord must wrap around the side to plug into the ipod. I have a 3rd gen nano (lil' square one) and the jack is on the bottom making it sit off-center. Also props the ipod a little off the back plate.

If this didn't sound as good as it does I would take it back. For this price its definitely a keeper!
